Fifteen foreign teachers came this year from Canada and the United States. We had great times together. Studying was often stressful, but mostly the times were wonderful and funny.

I was happy to come here and learn English. We can talk about anything to the teachers, if you have vocabulary. On the weekends, sometimes, we traveled to cities in Shandong province. When we stayed together, I always found it was different between Chinese teachers and foreign teachers. I felt happier than when I stayed with Chinese teachers. I like the WECL teachers.

I love English. It is wonderful to communicate with people who come from different countries in English. It is fantastic to read English originals. It is terrific to understand English movies without watching Chinese captions. If you can speak English, you will find the world is much vaster than you had thought.

I am very glad to talk to you all about my feelings after I have studied at WECL for one year. In my opinion, it was the best choice for me to come here. It made me find another world. I used to work for a bank, but disliked my boring and stressful job, so I resigned and came here. I thought I chose the right way.
